Hello, I am interested in Tado X to replace my current heatmiser setup.

I have 2 zones, 2 wireless thermostats, 2 valves/pumps. 1 thermostat controls 1 valve/pump for water based underfloor heating and the other controls the other valve/pump for the radiators. Boiler is wired into a Heatmiser UH8 RF wiring centre.

What Tado X kit do I need to replicate this setup? I am thinking the Wireless Smart thermostat starter kit, and radiator thermostats. The question is, what else is needed to have the wireless thermostat to control the underfloor heating zone/valve and the radiator therms to control the radiator zone/valve?

    I have a similar setup but have a UH3 Heatmiser control centre for the Under floor heating which has wired thermostats. If I’m not wrong your heatmiser wireless thermostats communicate to the UH8 to control the 2 zone valves or is the radiator system a separate wireless setup to the UH8?

    In my setup UH3 only controls the underfloor heating with 3 Heatmiser thermostats (3 floor zones) and a separate wired thermostat for radiators (not wired via the UH3). So I think I should be able to replace it with tado x.

    I’m no expert but have been in contact with my plumber he thinks it should work.

    What type of CH/HW programmer do you currently have? Are you looking to replace that or looking to just replace the thermostats?

    I have a Combi boiler so don't have a HW programmer and use the Heatmiser app to program CH. So I would use the Tado app/Radiator Therms to set schedules for heating.

    You are correct, my 2 wireless thermostats communicate with the UH8 centre to fire up the boiler and open valves.
