horrendous customer support / non existent

help and support with technical issues is impossible , Ive been on the chat for nearly 2 hours now and cant seem to get an answer quicker than 30 minutes, there is no other option for help . how can tado possbily think that this is good quality support for your product ! unbelievable awful horrendous customer service!

  • So basically youre expected to sit and wait with the chat open until someone decides to answer you (ive been waiting about 20 -30 mins each time . if you need to open another window to actually do something else with your day it takes the chat offline.

  • How can a company possible feel its appropriate to sell a technical product and not provide any technical support at all ! relying solely on its community to help customers for free or they just send you a scripted instruction that you can get on the app anyway

  • the most hilarious thing is if you put the word 'complaints' into Tado search bar it doesnt recognise the word . How ironic . Thats one way of not having to deal with customer complaints . Just grab the money for your crap product that doesnt work and go !!!!

    For the user community to help, please post details of your Tado products and the problem you have encountered.

    • Is this is new installation or an existing installation with fault?
    • The products you have purchased/installed. 'X' or V3+?
    • Wired or wireless starter kit?
    • Is it the standard Tado product or from an energy provider?
    • Details of the heating system: boiler make/model (combi or system), old programmer/timer, thermostat? S-Plan or Y-plan heating/HW with zone valves?
    • Pictures will help, easiest posted from a web browser.

    To get through the Tado chatbot, to the support team, they will require similar infomation. For attention, try 'No heating'.
