How can I remove an existing smart thermostat from the system

I was trying to install a new thermostat for a room with underfloor heating. Instead of saying it's already wired in I chose the DIY install option during setup. Now I'm having to wait for support via email.

Is there a way to remove the device entirely so I can start the setup process again and chose the correct option (it is wired up already)?

    Unfortunately we had to set this up this way because a regulatory body didn't like that customers could re-enter the installation process and get different wiring instructions (translation: we were forced to make the process idiot-resistant, to the detriment of all customers).
