Tado on single zone wet UFH

Looking for guidance on this. I have 7 tado TRVs installed and am about to instal the receiver ( or whatever they call it ) so they call for heat. On my last system ( 8 years ago so I’m struggling to recall) i installed a wireless thermostat to control the UFH pump and valve from what was the ‘hot water’ side of the receiver . Is this the way it’s done now ? I remember the tado tech people tweaked the labelling in the app somehow. Is this the way it’s done now - I really can’t find much about the subject
