Tado Temperature Sensor to log temperatures below 0 degrees C

Hello,

I'm using the Taco Temperature Sensor in my garage to purely measure the temperature. I found that there are hardly any temperature sensors that are connected to the cloud and can be read without being connected to the local wifi network.

In my garage, it sometimes gets below 0 degrees C. The Tado app doesn't register temperatures below 0, however, and it just shows a flat line at 0 degree C. I assume this is a pure software limitation? If this is the case, can this be removed so that we can also see sub-zero temperatures?

@cujo30227 Which device you are actually referring to?

tado° devices in general are for home use, therefore I don’t see the need of measuring temperatures below 0° C.

    Sub-zero temperature inside a house = concern.

Look elsewhere for alternative solutions - Zigbee sensors etc.
