How much battery does geofencing use when it's on all day?

    Hi Patrick,

    The geolocation function is actually governed by your phone, and it has some very practical ways of determining your location whilst using very little energy - only around 1% for the background activities.

    You can check this under the battery settings of your phone. But if you notice that it is using a lot more, please do me a favour and send support@tado.com a quick message about this, as well as sending us the logs (go to Settings on our app and tap on the tado° logo 5 times), so we can investigate and fix it if need be.
