Wiring up the wireless receiver to a Vaillant Ecotec Plus 831

    Hi All.


    Hoping for some help please.


    I have a Vaillant Evotec Plus 831 boiler. The current wireless receiver is only wired in at BUS Terminals +/-.


    on opening the old vaillant wireless receiver that too only had 2 wires the blue/brown going in (image attached)


    However the tado tells me i need to wire in the blue, brown and grey wires.


    Do I have to use the wire provided? and if so, where would i wire in these into my boiler control panel.


    Hope I have provided enough information.

    The existing thermostat is wired to a digital control interface (eBus, OpenTherm ….).
    Does your new Tado wireless receiver have the necessary digital contacts (marked A B - )?
