Battery life

Options
I have 6 radiator valves, but one valve has had the batteries changed 3 times in 6 months (none of the others have required changing) and the changes seem to be getting more frequent, I have tested the batteries after removal and they all have plenty of charge. Any suggestions?

Swap the problem valve with a known good valve and see if the battery issue moves with the smart valve or stays in the room. It maybe an environmental factor that is causing the valve to work harder and draining the battery, or you may have a faulty valve. Saying that, even if a valve is frequently activated I’d expect the battery life to be better than 2 months.

Last batteries only lasted 2 days, I have reset valve and now says batteries okay, I will see what happens.

Fresh radiator valve batteries installed are immediately shown as needing replacement does this always mean faulty valve?
