Heating come on when should be off

Heating is coming on high when it should be on low. Schedule is set correctly, and showing correct change to temp at correct time, but on the room icon itself it’s showing as heating is on. And on the radiator heating is on. Huge waste of energy and money.

  • Might be you're losing connection with one of your radiator valves. I've had this before where heating is running despite nothing requesting. Check through heating history of each radiator. If you see gaps in plot line then that's a tell take sign you might be experiencing drop outs.
  • Same issue. The heating states it’s off on my ap , yet the tenant informs me the heating is full on! I’m Totally confused !

Where is the bridge? In some houses if it’s not positioned right it can lose connection with the wireless receiver.
  • I have same issue. I only have the thermostat and bridge - no radiator valves. Worked fine for a long time, now just the radiators come on and the display and app say it’s turned off. The temp in the app is going up as the house warms up. Have to keep turning the boiler off to not roast the whole house!
  • Hi,

    Same behaviour. Any conclusions?
  • @Jss . Hope you don't mind . Please describe your system and what exactly is happening. Have you taken this up with support?
  • Hi to all!

Newby on, with Tado X smart wired thermostat + 4 Smart Radiator thermostat upstair, installed last friday

I struggle with same behaviour from yesterday, and had no other choice than to turn off SWT to avoid this behaviour.

This morning the same, didn't want to suffer Sahara inside…

I don't understand how to regulate this.

    Does anyone can advise ?

@Marcus28 Do, if you can, start a seperate thread, identifying your boiler, whether you have zone valves, and precisely (i) what Tado kit you have (ii) what specifically happens.
Some of the people on this thread have a faulty zone valve, some have faulty thermostats, some have not managed to complete pairing their devices with the bridge to the Internet, others with a wiring fault. So whilst the symptoms may seem the same the causes vary significantly.
When helping on the forum it can be difficult to handle a thread where five people claim they have the same problem and yet the solutions demand specific individual attention in short order. It helps my mind to address one problem at a time. Apologies if this makes things difficult.
  • Thank you, I was not thinking it could be so precise in details to get some support

Ok, I will follow your recomendation in opening new thread with configuration about my settings and envronment.

Enjoying to get support on Sunday ! :)
