Wiring smart thermostat to Ideal Logic Combi 30

Options
I had a heating guy round today to install my Tado thermostat but he got confused by the diagrams in the installer manual (I guess they’re not what he’s used to in the UK?) and wasn’t sure he’d wired it up right. Fast forward to tonight and despite the thermostat calling for heat, the boiler isn’t coming on, so I wondered if anyone could help.

I found a post on here recommending that the mapping was
Live to COM
Neutral to P1
Earth to P2
Switched Live to NO (normally open)

And in the thermostat I have the following wires
Black to NO
Grey to NC
Brown to COM
Blue to P1

Is this wired correctly?

Would need to know what terminals they are in at the boiler to cross reference.

It’s pretty straightforward for a sparky familiar with S-plan or Y-plan wiring. Your thermostat wiring colours are unknown and impossible to figure out. I’ve done maybe 15 new and upgrade wiring jobs on heating systems in 30 years for rellies. My plumbing rellie is best kept away from leccy wiring. The Tado controls upgrade at home, a couple of months ago, were straightforward. Would need to know how it was rewired by the installer … the problem may or may not be a Tado wiring issue. If it’s wired correctly, the first suspicion would be a zone valve fault. HTH.
