can my extension kit control water & heating?

I have a Tado + extension kit that is wired in similarly to below. At the moment it just controls heating.

I'd like to control hot water through Tado too. Can the extension kit I have do it? or do I need to buy a new system that includes hot water control?

    Depending on the boiler it is being connected to the Tado Extension kit can either be wired to provide simple on/off (relay) mode or digital (modulating) control.

    On the back of the actual Extension box it should show the wiring diagrams when used in simple on/off mode:

    In your picture you currently seem to have a connection onto terminal #3 which is normally used for HW not CH which seems a bit bizarre???

    Assuming its compatible with your boiler the switched live setup (with the jumper in position #2) will provide both CH & HW control - see Relay Wiring 2

    Should your boiler have a modern digital interface using this via the low voltage A - + terminals should also enable control of both the CH & HW.
