Pegler Terrier Valves

It seems that the Pegler Terrier III valves were compatible with tado in the past but no longer are. They are 'wide touch' valves but I don't see any reason why it couldn't - anybody else explored this?

Having searched this forum some people have managed to get it to work it seems and others not.

    I’ve just been installing Tado smart valves on 6 radiators in place of pegler terrier trv’s 4 are working fine but 2 will not shut off. It seems to me that the plunger is not extending far enough to close the valve properly.

    I had the Bulldog TRVs and they work okay.
