Can anyone tell me do I really need the wireless smart thermostat if I have all my radiators fitted with an individual Tado thermostat? If I did place the wireless thermostat in the hallway for example, that is already covered by the Tado radiator thermostat, which device takes priority and/or control of that room?

You can set the measuring device in rooms with trvs and thermostats to be either. The thermostat could provide a more accurate reading, depending on where the trv is. That and wanting controls separate to the app are about the only reason to have one.
