Controlling heat pump for heating and cooling
By now more and more owners adopt air-water heat pumps to heat and cool their houses by water plumbing under the pavement, so saving energy respect to other solution. What is of paramount importance given the present surge of energy prices.
Yet so far Tado has no solution for this configuration, notwithstanding it would consist of just a limited upgrade to their devices, possibly adding a single wire to activate the pump for cooling rather than for warming and the possibility to set both a minimum temperature and maximum temperature in the app.
Unfortunately just inverting the wiring in summer does not work as there are conditions when opening windows or being away where Tado sends an 'off' signal, that by inverting the wiring, would be a totally inappropriate 'on' signal.
