Howdy,

due to an order mix-up I have a wired thermostat and will, much later, receive a wireless starter kit.

My question is - once I connect the boiler to the wireless starter kit and have eliminated the need for a wired thermostat - can I use the wired thermo as a wireless one?

    Yes, wired thermostats are dual function.

    So - a new query

    I was told that the old (V2/V3) devices could only run one wireless thermostat and any additional heating zones had to be controlled using wired thermostats, which is about as inconvenient as it gets.

    My question is - can the new versions ( X ) control more than one zone using wireless thermostats or does the old limitation still apply?
