As many combi boilers continue to run even after shutting off (to prevent internal overheating) Would it be possible to add a feature where you can select a room to act as a bypass valve.
This would be as simple as when the command is sent to the boiler to turn off, the nominated valve opens to prevent possible damage to the water pump in the boiler if all rooms are fitted with Tado TRVs, and would eliminate the need for either having a room without a TRV, or fitting a bypass valve.
