Mac M1 and the Tado App

Is it possible to allow the app to run on the M1 and M2 series Mac computers ?

Not everyone in our home has a smartphone, so it would be nice they can use their laptop to control Tado.

I asked this question a year ago but no one seems to care.

It requires no extra programming, just a setting to make the app visible on the appstore on the M-series Macs.

We're already using the Engie, EUFY, Ikea, Fusionsolar, Homewizard, Millheat,... iOS apps on the M1 Mac and they work just fine because they don't use special layout, graphics , multitouch,... settings. I'm pretty sure yours will work as well.

I agree, it's annoying. Can use control Eve and Apple Home from my laptop, but not Tado.

Are you sure it's an apple silicon issue? Maybe it doesn't work for intel mac's also..?

The benefit of the apple platform is that things work in all devices (laptop, iPhone, iPad, watch, TV). By not supporting laptop, Tado is not aligned with the apple platform.

Also, the main reason I want to use the laptop is to browse the graphs. The graphs are not available in apple home, so have to use the Tado app. And the graphs are a pain to use on the phone as have to tilt the phone to horizontal to view them, then back to vertical to select the next sensor. The iPad is also good for this, but my son is on that sometimes.

Isn't the web app suitable enough for use on desktop/laptop? As far as I can tell it's a carbon copy of the smartphone app and I use it all the time on my desktop. Unless I'm missing something?

*nvm this thread is old as hell and got necro'd.
