Schedule that is NOT internet dependent (safer)!
If you are on holiday and your internet drops, Tado continues with whatever setting it had at the time. In other words, your hot water could be ON for the rest of your holiday, not a good thing (and you will not know about it as you no longer have remote access). This is the one flaw I find in Tado. It appears that schedules are stored in the Tado cloud and not in the household units. Other remotely controlled systems I use store their schedules in the actual units and so this survives internet outage.
My suggestion: store scheduing in the smart thermostat or controller and not in the cloud. In the event of an internet outage it's better that a schedule continue to operate than a specific setting. This locally stored schedule could still be remotely controlled while there is internet.

Given that this was raised in Feb 2019, I wouldn't hold your breath. This is the main reason why I can (sadly) never recommend Tado to others.0

@johnbur do you know a system with similar features (individual room control) and offline capability? I don't mind switching system in due course.0

Drayton Wiser is capable of operating offline . . .0

Turn all rooms to off / frost protection and water to off before you leave the house and it will stay that way with or without internet. I don't see why cloud storage of settings is a problem.
