Keep the radiator valve open for a while after the temperature has been reached.
So the smart thermostat button works like this. You set a temperature like 20 degrees. However the room is19 degrees. Tado turns the valve of the radiator open and your central heating boiler starts heating. However after the temperature has been reached, Tado gives a stop signal but immetiately shuts down the radiator valve.
The problem is that central heating boiler is stuck with heated water which is not consumed by the radiator because the valve is closed. So it's getting wasted.
Heating boilers come with an option that after heating that the pump will spin for several minutes so the heat of the boiler will be consumed.
I want to suggest a after-run-time option for the radiator valves so when the room has reached the temperature. That the valve says open for a short time after. So Tado can stop earlier with requesting heat from the central heating boiler.

Are you sure that’s how Tado works? Sounds more like how an on/off thermostat would work to me.0
