How do I get my boiler to talk to the settings on my app and smart thermostat?

I have had my Tado for many years and generally it has been brilliant. Hot water is still brilliant. However heating is very temperamental. Often does not come on. And if it comes on it stops. I don’t think the pairing between the thermostat and the bridging is working. I have tried pairing regularly but get EO. I have tried resetting and a few other things. Should I perhaps try re programming the heating programme?

    May I ask....
    1 do you have a full extension kit installed?
    2. Aside from wall thermostats do you also have tado rad stats in place?
    3. If CH doesn't start when it should, if you press the CH button on the extension kit, does the boiler fire?

    1. Yes I have full extension kit installed for many years
    2. No rad stats in place
    3. I don’t have CH on my extension kit and when I press ‘boost heating’ on my phone it used to fire up immediately. Now it doesn’t fire up at all . The white super smart thermostat says 21.2 and 25 but boiler does not fire up

    4. The good things are that the water works every time.
    5. Also in the morning the heat comes on but it stops well before the required temperature is reached.
    6. Also it changes on the phone every time the programmes change and the boiler fires up!
