1hr boost

It would be very helpful to be able to set a timer for boosting a heating zone.

Some time I would like to have the heating on either upstairs or downstairs outside the scheduled times.

More often than not I set it manually but I always forget to turn it off.

Since I have underfloor heating the temperature raises very slowly even after the heating is turned off. It usually carries on rising 1.30-2hrs after the heating is turned off.

So sometime I just would like to turn the heating on for one hour without having to change the scheduler. Doing it manually is fine but I usually forget to turn it off.

So a boost with maybe a timer would be helpful.

The boost function has a timer, but it works on a range of devices, not just one. You can also set a timer for the manual temperature control (set Manual Control on tado° device to timer in the settings), or you can use your system's automation or voice command to boost for a limited time.

  • @rafm5 got it. This feature is so deeply buried. Seems a feature that should be made more easily accessible.

Anyway thanks for pointing the timer feature in the settings menu.
