Tado Batteries for Wires Thermostat - LR03 or FR03?

Has anyone has any success using Lithium based AAA batteries in their wired thermostat? Example such as Energiser Lithium AAA (FR03).

I know the literature states LR03 (Alkaline) but it doesn’t explicitly say FR03 (Lithium) can’t be used

    Update: I took the plunge and tried these Lithium batteries and after around 1 hour later the Tado finally updated and it showing good batteries levels.

    FYI after changing the batteries to Energiser Lithium AAA it took over a hour before the low battery warning went away - so don't panic 😃
