Heating - water temperature
Hello everyone. Is the TADO thermostat capable of increasing or decreasing the flow temperature of a gas boiler?

Yes, it certainly can if it's wired correctly and the boiler supports it. I have mine wired via the OpenTherm connector and this allows Tado to increase or decrease the flow temperature as necessary - it's very effective in my case. You can check how it's set up using the 'Tado for Installers' app, or via this link

Second question. How do I find out how it is currently configured?

Thank you! Is it normal that at the beginning it starts at maximum 80 degrees?

You can change the default 80 degrees down to something more reasonable. For my old stone house, a maximum of 65 degrees seems to be the happy medium, but others seem to have it set lower. Tado will then reduce the flow temperature once the house is near or at target temperature. Mine will regularly tick along at 30-35 degrees to keep the house at a steady 18-19 degrees
