Why are my radiators on when heating is switched off?
Hi. I have a wireless controller and thermostat, no TRVs. For several weeks, although the heating has been switched off, whenever the hot water is scheduled to be on, the radiators are being heated as well. Please can you advise what to do… we are struggling to get any hot water! The app shows heating off and hot water. Thank you!

If your’s is a Y plan system it sounds as though the mid position valve might have developed a fault . . .0

Hello @jtTado
I had a look at your Home data and no call for heat was made by tado° devices in the last days. That means @hugbilly is likely on to something. It may have something to do with one of your homes' valves.
As a short-term solution, you could close your radiators' valves so hot water doesn't reach them. This likely won't resolve your hot water problem, but it could help prevent your home from overheating.0 -
Thanks but I don’t have any TRVs fitted, so can’t be that!0

Thanks @hugbilly and @Emcee. I didn’t read the posts properly, ie. You were not referring to radiator valves but system valves! Sounds like a heating engineer might be required!1

@Kay7860 hello and welcome. There are a lot of settings in play, Tado and others. For users to help, can you tell us what Tado devices you have installed, please?
