Heat Pump Optimizer X and Mitsubishi Ecodan

Can the new Heat Pump Optimizer X be connected with Mitsubish Ecodan heat pumps? Or is the support planned in the near feature? Product compatibiliy checker is not working (even with supported Daikin and Panasonic heat pumps it says they aren't compatible 😂)

    From what I know, we support Atlantic, Vaillant, Saunier Duval, Fujitsu, Daikin. Very soon: Panasonic (we have a partnership with them). Next on this list: Nibe und Mitsubishi. But don't quote me on that as I cannot make any promises. We are working down the list of manufacturers with the most market share in the markets where tado is active (Europe including the UK, basically). In reality prioritisation is a bit more complicated, but this is the main gist of it.

    Also, I'd always check with our support about compatibility as brand alone is not a guarantee. Some brands used different control interfaces over the years. Compare it to Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7 and Windows 95. All made by one manufacturer: Microsoft. But with different compatibility. Heat Pumps from some manufacturers have something similar. Especially when you have an older one; double check with support. We support the vast, vast majority of the HPs from the compatible manufacturers, but not all of them.

    Thanks for the fast feedback. So I am guessing this winter i am not buying any Tado products :(.
