correct wiring for smart thermostat
need some guidance on how to correctly wire a wired smart thermostat. I'm attaching a pic of how the old thermostat was wired, showing L jumpered to COM and the control blue & brown wires connected to N & NO respectively. On the Tado thermostat I've tried connecting L straight on COM, the control brown wire connected to NO, and both blue wires parked in the same connector (most similar to previous), but this seems to have the system always on no matter the setpoint. If I park the blue wires separately, the system never seems to turn on. Please advise.

- Turn the power off.
- Go back to your original wiring with the old thermostat.
- Place a bridging wire between NO and COM.
- Turn the power on.
Does the boiler fire? If it does, then wire in your Tado thermostat as follows:
- Turn power off.
- Wire the original live wire to COM
- Place both Neutral (blue) wires in the park P1 - do not seperate them.
- Place the wire that went to PIN 1 to NO.
Ensure that the thermostat is configured in the App in RELAY mode.
5. Turn the power on.
Does it work? If it doesnt, we need to learn more about your system, the exact model of boiler, the exact model of old thermostat.
