Which adaptor to use
I have an Ecopal thermostatic radiator valve on an existing radiator and want to replace it with a tado smart radiator valve.
Looking through the list of thermostat valves in the help it is not listed. Any idea if an adaptor is required or not please?

I've fitted the tado rad stat with no adaptor. It passed the setup tests during the install and all appears good. Time will see if anything needs to be done.
Thanks for your assistance though it has been appreciated.0

Apologies. I made a typo in the name. It's ECOCAL
I've taken some photos but can't see how to add them onto this post0 -
Thanks for the info. I was going to try the website to upload the photos. I was using the app and there isn't an option for attachments. Thanks again0

It doesnt work like that. The Tado Smart TRV head is purely a head, the actual original thermostatic valve remains in place, one unscrews the head and then one fits the Tado head in its place.
The Tado Smart TRV head comes with an adaptor kit. Every retailer who sells these has a duty of accepting a return, within 8 working days. Try it.

@MalcP Hello. We have four rads with Tado TRVs working on ecocal 30mm thermostatic valves.

@MalcP Thanks for letting everyone know that the Tado TRV is working on your ecocal thermostatic valves. It's always helpful to close out the question and replies.
