Longest lasting/best batteries?
I'm looking to swap out all the batteries on my 9 TRVs before I go away for two weeks over Christmas just to be sure nothing will go wrong while I am away.
I noticed I can use Alkalines or Eneloop brand rechargeables.
Which would last longest?
So far I have looked at standard Duracell and the 100% Extra Duracells. I also see 200% Optimum Duracells but I seem to recall these don't fit in the TRVs, is that right?
I've also looked at the Eneloop range and they do a 950mAh (Lite), a 2000mAh (Standard) and the 2500mAh (Pro). Apart from the obvious power differences, is there any reason to go for one over the others?
Do the Eneloops last longer than Alkalines or vice versa? Are there any benefits in one over the other apart from Eneloop being better for the environment?
Just want to get this right before committing!
One last question: How long is it between seeing a Low Battery warning to complete failure on a TRV?

Hello @TadoUser2 We use the Panasonic eneloop 2000mAh rechargeable batteries with the Panasonic BQ-CC55 charger. They typically last anything between six and twelve months in TRVs. You can see the variability in the chart below.
The original Alkaline batteries lasted between eight months (in high-use rooms) and 30 months (in a couple of the bedrooms).
