Tado V3 and Vaillant EcoTec Plus
Hello everyone,
I have a TADO V3 thermostat that was previously connected to a boiler in relay mode (on/off). A few weeks ago, I replaced the boiler with a Vaillant Ecotec Plus, and I noticed that it can be connected in eBus mode. Can anyone tell me how to do it? Can I do it myself, or do I need a technician? Thank you very much!

Yes you can. The simplest first step is to connect support via the app and ask for the instructions to amend
1. The wiring connectors to your specific model of boiler. Be specific and they will send you specific steps. For now read this:
2. The boiler's menu to enable ebus to be controlled via D07 mode.
3. Your thermostat wiring. For now read this document, focusing on D07 mode.

4. The changes to the app to make it work.
If you are then troubled, come back here.0 -
