New install-boiler cycling on and off with no demand
Hi
I've moved house and brought my kit with me. The house has got a Glowworm Ultimate 70FF. I’ve replaced a Lifestyle Model LP522 timer/controller and a Honeywell CM707 thermostat (I’ll try to add the images of the original wiring), I've installed a starter kit V3+. Now its installed, in accordance with the instructions from the app, my boiler is constantly cycling my central heating on and off without any demand from the Tado kit.
After reading a few posts it looks like Tado are not very responsive, I was hoping someone on here may be able to help.
I have bridged the two wires that my old thermostat was using. I have moved the wires from my old controller to the following,
All wires on N to N
All wires on L to L
New purple wire from the kit from L to CH COM to HW COM
Wire from 1 to HW NC
Wire from 3 to HW NO

Just in case anyone has a similar problem and comes across this thread. I’ve fixed it!
I reinstalled my ‘dumb’ thermostat and everything worked as expected, so I bought a Tado smart thermostat as a direct replacement. I fitted that and it controlled the central heating but not the hot water (I think this is because of the type of boiler), I added the wireless thermostat back into the set up and now I can control everything through the app.1
