Incorporate fixed costs and taxes in the calculation of energy expenditure
Dear Tado team,
I would like to propose an improvement that I consider useful for many users: the possibility of including fixed costs and taxes in the calculation of total energy expenditure.
Currently, the application only allows the variable rate per kWh to be entered, which may underestimate the real energy costs, as it does not take into account:
- The fixed costs that many suppliers include in electricity or gas bills.
- Taxes which significantly affect total expenditure.
Implementing this functionality would allow users to obtain a more realistic and complete calculation of their energy costs, thus improving the user experience and economic planning of the home.
I understand that each country has different regulations and tariff structures, but a simple option could be implemented for each user to manually customize these values (for example, a field to add fixed costs and a percentage for taxes).
