Android app stuck on opening orange screen

Help!
My app has suddenly stopped working and gets stuck on the opening splash screen.
I have tried force stopping, emptying cash etc. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled but no joy. My wife's app is working fine, so not likely to be out WiFi. I have even turned off WiFi and used 4g but no luck.
Any advice would be gratefully received. Cheers Ken

    @kenjr I've had the same problem for a few weeks or so now. Ever since my Pixel 7 updated to Android 15, the app will sporadically get stuck on the splash screen. I've tried everything you've tried, and the only two things I've found that work are:

    1. Close the app, wait umpteen minutes, and go back into it later and it'll suddenly work.
    2. Reboot the phone.

    Neither of which are satisfactory. My guess is something in the operating system has changed slightly and the app isn't handling it correctly.

    Interestingly, in my case I have two other apps that now misbehave with Android 15 - my TP-link deco app and my Nintendo Switch parental controls app. Both of these will also occasionally just hang on launching. Nothing fixes them except the above two methods either.

    Just managed to get app working again by restarting phone, for reference it is a pixel 8a

    Excellent, just be aware if it's behaving anything like mine it'll keep happening.
