Wired thermostats have stopped working correctly
I installed 2 v3+ wired thermostats on a 2 zone system (upstairs/downstairs) a month ago, were all working ok, but have now started acting weirdly, turning on downstairs now turns on upstairs only from the app, and upstairs only from the thermostat, downstairs won’t turn on from the thermostat even though it says it’s on - driving me mad can’t work it out, any help appreciated, not sure if it needs resetting

Questions.
1. When you say two zone do you mean two central heating zones or one CH and one HW? How any zone valves do you have?
2. If there is an extension kit handling supply for both HW and CH, there is a button to force CH on at the wireless receiver. When you press that, does it light up and does the boiler fire within 2 mins?
* If so that confirms that from Tado wireless recruiters to the boiler, communication works.
* If it lights but the boiler didn't fire, it may be necessary to check the heads of the motorised zone valves individually. Here is a link to check that:

It is likely that if you have one zone serving downstairs, another serving upstairs that this is the problem. Fixing it is dead simple. There are YouTube videos to replace the faulty valve head.
3. If you don't have an extension kit but do have motorised valves, run that YouTube link to test the motorised valves by tracing the valve that serves downstairs and checking whether it works properly.
4. Replace the batteries in both thermostats. Check to see if there are problems with the downstairs zone again. If the fault is still there contact support using the app. If there's too much of a delay come back here.0
