Can Intergas Kombi Kompakt HRE work with Tado X

Hi,

I bought an tado x introduction package (bridge, thermostat and knobs). I have an older intergas boiler. I only saw after it came in that Tado recommends the v3 for Intergas. But does it still work with Tado X (but maybe limited?)

    Hello @Mark48Tado

    tado° X can work with either OpenTherm or Relay protocols.

    V3+ can work with eBus.

    I assume your boiler can at least work with relay (please double check), in which case tado° X can function for you.

    Hi, how can I check that? I can't seem to find many manuals online..

    It's about the Intergas Kombi Kompact HRE 28/24. With serial 1005041947.

    Just checked with intergas, it supports opentherm on port 11 and 12.

    If it support OpenTherm, then tado° X should work just fine. Please contact support via live chat if you encounter any issues during installation.

    Hi Mark48Tado,

    Have you tried the “Tado Pro” app for installation? This lists your boiler under wiring instructions for Tado X. The app is very useful; it would appear to offer 2 options (OpenTherm or Relay On/Off on the second tab which probably reflects the 11/12 connectors on the illustrated photo).

    It is a completely different App to the standard Tado App, at least in Apple IOS.
