Tado X and leaving my Drayton LP522 hot water programmer in place

Hi all,

I am upgrading to Tado X starter kit with a wireless thermostat including hot water controller (just arrived), I am currently on Tado V3+ with only the wired thermostat and some room stats. I have a Vaillant Ecofit pure 425 boiler with a tank, vented system, it has a Drayton LP522 programmer for the water.

so my question is can I install the wireless system but leave my old programmer in place for the water or do I have to remove the programmer completely?

I have searched the web on how to wire the hot water but found found nothing but a lot on how to wire the CH which is fine I can use the relay next to the Ebus ports. but nothing on the hot water tank.

so my thought is, I will leave the programmer to do the hot water, according to the Vaillant engineer it controls the hot water anyway and only use the wireless Thermostat.

What do you think, a good idea or not?

Thanks
