Brand New Tado X Setup

Hi all,

New to Tado and now have installed Tado X full home system.

I have conventional S Plan system, Baxi Ecoblue boiler and hot water tank.

I have already set-up the wireless receiver X, the wireless temp sensor located in the hallway and set-up all my smart rad valves.

Everything is working fine, my hot water control and schedule all seamless and I'm fairly happy.

I need some advice please on how to get the best use out of the smart rad valves? I currently just have each individual valve set to its own temp in each room.

  1. Is it best just to leave it like this?
  2. Will leaving it like this just allow individual rads to call for heat as and when?
  3. Is there really any need to set a schedule at all?
  4. What use (if any) in the grand scheme of things, is the wireless temp sensor? I'm used to Nest, where the wireless thermostat had a bit more control over everything.

Thanks in advance for all help. Appreciate it.
