2 heating zones
I have a combi boiler system with 2 separate heating zones.
At present each zone has a wireless thermostat controlling a 2 port zone valve.
Is it possible to control each zone valve with a separate Tado thermostat.
The house is divided into 2 dwellings with one boiler. I want to have access to both zones via the app but dont want my lodgers to be able to see or control my half of the property but they will have access to their own zone.
Is this doable ???

Hello @GRAHeating Answers below:
Yes, each zone valve can be connected to a separate zone controller. That is a) two wired thermostats;or b) one wired thermostat and one wireless receiver; or c) two wireless receivers.
AFAIK, zoning access to the V3+ App the way you describe is not possible.
In principle … the simplest answer would be to leave the existing programmer/controls in place, set to 24/7. Install two wired starter kits (replacing the existing wired thermostats) and set up two accounts. If you don't have a second email, creating a dedicated gmail address is easy. You keep access and control for both home and lodger accounts. You can add TRVs and wireless thermostats, and point them to the appropriate zone controller (wired thermostat).
For the lodger zone: a) give the lodgers access to the lodger account, with their email address; OR b) find a cheap dedicated tablet for the lodgers (and/or yourself) to use.
For Home and Lodger zones: c) To avoid switching App account logins on your devices, use a web browser to access the lodger zone account.
We control our home and a rellies home remotely. We keep a dedicated iPad (a cheap 2022 model) in the kitchen for the home automation apps. Web access to the rellie's Tado system is perhaps not the most elegant answer, but we find it's workable without a lot of hassle.
Hope this helps.
