How would I wire a combi compact rf 24 previously connected to a honeywell cm927

I've attached an image of my current boiler wiring, it's currently connected to a wireless thermostat how would I go about wiring a tad thermostat?

  • Your boiler's installation guide describes many specific scenarios of use in this document: intergas Combi Compact ECO RF24 on pages 23-27. If I have read the manual correctly it seems that the honeywell programmable RF stat operates the boiler in in basic on-off control mode, not the Opentherm mode which make the boiler run more efficiently.

Furthermore there is a problem, cannot see clearly where the cable from the CM927 actually terminates in the boiler and I presume thats why you came here. Am sorry, but you will have to trace the wires yourself and probably have to remove them from their actual connector point in the boiler.

Next, you should be aware that your boiler will run more efficiently in Opentherm mode by connecting the Tado to Pins 11 and 12 on the X4 boiler connector. I strongly recommend that you get Tado support to give you clear instructions to decommission the CM927 and to fit their recommended thermostat.
