Tado TRV is hotter than programmed
The temp is on the TRV matches an independent room thermometer, so is accurate.
But why is the TRV continuing to call for heat and making the room much hotter than it is set to? Is it a faulty TRV?
This is the second time in a month this has happened with the same TRV. I replaced the batteries and it seemed to work for a couple of weeks, but has now reverted back. Even though the TRV shows a good battery life on the app.
Anyone have any experience of thus or thoughts?

I have the same situation with my TRVs (version X), but only when they are set manually. They continue to call for heat after the setpoint is reached and stop at 0,5 - 1,0° over the setpoint. When following the time schedule, they are more accurate. I cannot understand if this is a feature or a bug, either way it bothers me.
I would expect a PID-controlled system to stop heating BEFORE reaching the setpoint, taking into account the rate of temperature increase and the radiator thermal inertia in order to avoid overshooting. Not closing the valve even when the setpoint is reached seems totally illlogical to me.
I hope someone from tado could comment on this, it's not the first time that the supposed "smartness" of their system is questioned.
