Three waves will not come on
I have a smart thermostat set up with underfloor heating. It’s stopped working. When I manually ramp up the temperature to 25deg in the app, the three waves do NOT come on / go solid in the app. So although the temperature in the room is 20deg, and the set point is 25deg, the app is not even trying to call for heat, the zone valve which governs the UFH does not actuate and the UFH pump does not run. Is this an app issue, OR could there be a fault with the zone valve which would cause the three waves not to go solid? Other zones in the system are working with three solid waves calling for full heat in the app and zone valves actuating as expected.

This is now fixed and the problem seemed to be caused by the batteries I was using, which I hadn’t spotted were low-power AAAs. Fitting normal AAAs, factory resetting and re-pairing solved the issue. I also learned during the process that the smart thermostat controls the zone valve which in turn activates the boiler. The underfloor heating booster pump is activated via a temperature sensor so is not directly controlled by the thermostat.0

Great feedback on the batteries - could well help another member in future.
