I need to replace my failed tado wired stat

My current stat has failed and will not switch pump off. Is there an easy way to swap out old tado stat for new one ordered?

    Dead easy as long as you are swapping with the same model or generation, ie Tado V3 wired with Tado V3 wired.

    • Remove the front of the old one, just grab and rotate the top off the wall. Leave the back on the wall.
    • Go to the app, scan the QR code for the new one, add it to the room.
    • Remove the battery protector from the new one, make sure it wakes up.
    • Make sure it marries with the internet bridge - a set of interlinking chains lock in.
    • Mount the new front on the back plate of the old one.
    • Remove the old one from your app.
    • Wait for 5 mins.

    Should work.
