Radiator thermostat error

What kind of thermostat, one for a radiator?
If so, it is having problems actuating the pin beneath it. It is likely the thermostat pin on the radiator is stuck open or shut.
- Reove the Tado head
- Get something metal, wide, strong, flat - like a wallpaper scraper.
- Place it, flat side horizontal over the thermostat pin at the radiator. Press down. Is it stuck?
- If so, spray some silicone lubricant - not 3 in 1, not WD40. Carefully, with a pair of pliars, turn the pin and push it up and down, until it is free.
- Remove the batteries on the thermostat for a minute. Refit them. Then refit the thermostat.
- It should calibrate itself and the spanner symbol should dissapear.

WD40 offers a can with silicone spray, with a really well made top button which is actually controllable, and a thin pipe that allows you to hit the spot. My can has lasts me 3 years. Every autumn, I go around the rads, make sure their pins a sorted and then dont have a nightmare on the cold days. Brilliant for this. Amazon and Screwfix sell it.

Just that- WD40's version which only contains diluted silicone in a spray/ No need to use a grease as those contaminate the waxstat below.
