Greenstar 28i with digistat optimiser
I have installed a tado system into our WB greenstar 28i which has the digital clock /RF unit. The tado works on its own and you can hear the relay click when you set a demand for CH, but this does not fire the boiler. The remote Digistat optimiser still operates the CH, and I can't figure out how to change this over. Any ideas?

Hi @Billbells52. Two things:
- Contact Tado via the App, explain that you have no heat - this is important to be prioritised.
- Would you explain what you did when you installed your Tado kit?
- Identify the Tado products you've put in place.
- What mode did you set them up to work in? That boiler has two potential modes in which Tado can engage it:
- The simplest way, is to wire in in what Tado call R01 mode (Relay) whiich is wired into connector ST10.
- The one with more long term benefit is to wire it in what Tado call D17, HT-BUS mode, which engages the Greenstar boiler's EMS-BUS (aka E-BUS, and which Tado call the HT-BUS connection).
Having been on this forum for about 11 months, have noticed that the Greenstar series can have glitches in its implementation but a few people have found ways through it. The most common solution is to dismount the ribbon for the front panel controller - however would suggest that you search through the Greenstar threads and see if something makes sense for you.
If you are still uncomfortable let us know and we'll ask a few people who've handled this themselves in their own homes, and hopefully they'll have something to offer. We tend to have a full response within a week from members.
