Non Tado connected radiators are always on.
Hello All,
Firstly, the setup I have is: 8 Smart Radiator Thermostat X, one Wireless Temp Sensor, and a Programmer connected to my Combi Boiler Logic Max C35 via OpenTherm.
Now, in the app, my Hot Water setting and the Flow Temp Optimization is usually set to 60 Degrees, but I have tried to set it to 40 degrees in hopes it fixes my problem, which it doesn't.
The problem I currently have is, I have 3 radiators in the house that are not connected to the Tado system are constantly on 24/7 it seems. I check at 3am one night and all three radiators were on. So, it seems like the boiler is constantly on.
Before, I could have the radiators open at the valve, and it wasn't until I set the temperature on the thermostat that it all started to kick in. I could manually close those radiators but that kinder defeats the point of this smart system. I have also notice at night that the boiler clicks on a lot more than it used to, as it is directly below my bedroom.
It doesn't seem very efficient to have it setup this way and suspect it will start costing me more, which again, defeats the point of this smart system.
- Is there a way to schedule that the boiler just doesn't turn on between 10pm and 6am as it just doesn't need to be on?
- Is there anything I am doing wrong on my end such as settings?
