Dry Mode Getting Jammed Home Assistant AC V3+
Dry mode is getting jammed on my Home Assistant instance. Won't allow any changes of mode from the App or Home Assistant after a period of time.
The only way to get drying to show up on my home assistant thermostat card, with my Daikin is by:
- Setting up my Tado Smart Schedule with the Dry setting on.
- Activating Auto Mode (Tado Smart Schedule) via Home Assistant
- When doing this I am using the Auto mode by the thermostat card and Home Assistant State.
When trying to use dry mode natively (without use of Tado Smart Schedule) on my Daikin from Home Assistant, the mode does not latch. Also found that the mode gets stuck and does not allow changes to the mode from the Tado App or Home Assistant.

Hitachi Drying activated natively.
I have two different brands of air conditioner when controlling the A/C's from within the Tado App. See below screen shots.
- Daikin - Can only set Dry and Swing
- Hitachi - Can set Dry, Temperature and Vertical Swing
If I have heating mode set in the schedule I cannot turn the Daikin air conditioner to dry mode, it briefly works but then stops.
Is there some sort of limitation where Home Assistant is sending a Mode and Temperature to my Daikin but the App won't accept the Temperature setting?
Also when in Dry Mode trying to switch to Cool or Heat modes seems to be difficult.

When trying to send an API Call [setZoneOverlay] to the Daikin using a temperature and dry mode the node would return an error.
Sending the API Call without a temperature set and it works.
Obviously Home Assistant Thermostat Card must be sending a temperature with the mode and causing the jammed up state, due to the error.
