Boiler coming on when it should be off.

I’ve seen others on here with similar issues but mine is slightly different so just wanted to post and see if anyone had any ideas whilst I wait to hear from Tado support.
I have a wired smart thermostat which obviously means no extension kit just the smart thermostat wired directly to the combi boiler. I’ve had this for around 5 years and usually works perfectly until recently.
I have my temp set to 21.5C as I like it a bit warmer than some. I have an Alexa routine that I can run that literally just holds the temp at 25c for 15 minutes just for times when I’m a bit colder than normal. It works perfectly but in the last 2-3 months I’ve noticed that when the 15mins is up the heating turns off like it always does and resumes back to the 21.5C schedule but after 5-10minutes the heating turns back on again for about 5mins then turns off despite the temp being something like 22.6C and well above the 21.5C it’s set to.
It’s only started to do this in the recent months and nothing has changed and this has been running for 5 years without issue. Batteries to the thermostat were changed in July and show as “good”. I also don’t pay for the auto assist features and the outside temperature shouldn’t have any relation as the current temperature when it turns back on is usually well over 1°C higher that the set temp. Also this only started a few months ago and has been working without fail and without change for 5 years.

This may be caused by the Tado algorithms being altered by those temporary boosts and somehow changing the demand curve summarised each day, for each time slot. Best way is to ask support to study why the sudden logically not-requested calls for heat occured and to inform you what needs to be done about that system fault. Make sure they record it as a hard fault producing excess heat without a request.
