@Emcee I responded to a poster then attempted to answer a quesion for another and was prevented from posting the second one buy the "spam block" this was the message:

"You have posted 1 times within 240 seconds. A spam block is now in effect on your account. You must wait at least 600 seconds before attempting to post again"

I unerstand there has been a problem wiht spam, I saw it, but can this block not be applied only to new or newer accounts? Thanks.

    Hello @tulloch

    Unfortunately there is no way of applying our spam precautions to certain users. Everyone is affected.

    The spam has lessened considerably since last week. I will play by ear, but these limitations won't be forever.
