Heating turning on via boiler panel but not via Tado App

Hi,
I have the Tado v3 installed in a Worcester Greenstar CDO Classic Combi boiler. When the electrician installed the Tado setup he removed the control panel on the boiler as the control would be now via the Tado app. I was told I could get a blanking plate from Worcester Bosch to go where the control panel used to be.
Tado control via the app was working fine for weeks but then I lost internet connectivity for a week so wondered how to turn the heating back on without the Tado app functionality.
As I understand, when I can't use Tado, I can turn the heating on manually via the boiler controls however I couldn't do this as the electrician removed the Worcester control panel when he installed Tado.
The electrician came back and put the Worcester control panel back on the boiler and I can turn heating/water on/off directly via the Worcester control panel. However, the Tado app (whilst telling me everything works ok) will not turn on heating even though the Tado app says heating is on.
And this is where my confusion lies…
How does the negotiation work between Tado and the Worcester Bosch manual controls?
On the boiler directly, do I delete the existing schedule on the boiler, do I set the boiler heating to off and water to off?
I am in a situation now where the Worcester panel on the boiler is working (and turns heating on/off) but the Tado app won't activate heating. All Tado settings are green i.e. no problems reported.
Any help/guidance much appreciated.

@zsc0re Hello. Sorry to hear you are having problems. It is unfortunate that boiler manufacturers limit third party access to the open-system heating control standards.
My initial reaction to your confusion/issue:
- Remove the Worcester panel and revert to Tado.
- Request the Tado off-line scheduling from the community pages.
- If you can't find the off-line scheduling page, please contact the community admin @Emcee .
