Tado EU version with hot water control
At the moment I’m having a new central heating system and boiler installed. Unfortunately the heating engineer is unfamiliar with Tado and wanted this plumbed in as PDHW/X-Plan so I could take advantage of opentherm but has plumbed in as S-Plan.
Will get this switched to what I want but for now I have a Tado EU version which when I compare the manuals there are different connections on the model I have compared to the UK version, specifically hot water control.
My question is can I use the EU version in the interim on S-Plan even if in relay mode only or would I need a UK receiver with hot water control?

Please take us through this slowly and in detail.
- What boiler model is it.
- Is it a combie or system boiler?
- How is the S Plan plumbed in? How many zones? What do they serve?
- Is there a wiring centre? What model of wiring centre?
This may take about five loops between us, but it should be possible.
