Hi wonder if anyone can help advise me please

Would a Tado V3 Starter Kit be compatible with the following make of boiler - any advise greatly appreciated

I have a Potterton Performa 30 HE Combi Boiler With A Wireless Thermostat - Also Potterton Make

Has anyone fitted the Tado V3 Starter Kit to this type of boiler ?

    @Mrrobbie62 Hello. Yes, it would probably appear so. For users to comment more, you’ll have to explain about your Potterton wireless controls? Best to reach out to Tado support team from the main Tado web site.

    I've taken a look at the pictures and at two different versions of the installation manual. The boiler doesn't appear to have the internal timer?

    Wiring external controls to the terminal block (Fig 29) looks straightforward, just two connections on 1 and 2. A Tado wired thermostat (or Wireless Receiver CH) will to connect to the Terminal Block: COM to 1 and NO to 2. Tado will give you both external clock (schedule) and room thermostat functions.

    EDIT: Presumably, you simply disconnect the potterton wireless connections from the terminal block 1 and 2; terminate them safely, and wire in Tado? If in any doubt, always best to consult a qualified professional that knows your boiler and heating system

    Tado has a low temperature protection. However, if the boiler is in a location susceptible to freezing, always add a physical frost stat.
